Description:

Cowboy created the default background, many however are involved through out the theme. JohnnyG created the wallpaper used in KVirc. I have used the Icon set from the Lava theme, previously created. Some of the other wallpapers were created by Admin-Amir.

Ultimate edition 2.8 Theme Pack Contents:

* 1 GTK2 Theme
* 1 Metacity Theme
* 1 Emerald Theme
* 19,000+ Icons 16X16, 22, 24, 32, 64, 96, 128 & 256
* 11 Wallpapers
* 1 Compiz splash
* 1 Compiz skydome
* 1 Screensaver

This theme pack is not currently available on our repository.

Un-installation:

Not happy with the theme? It is easy to uninstall in a terminal:

sudo apt-get remove ultimate-edition-theme-2.8

It was done, before I started thanks fellas, always quick to judge. Even before it was final.

Changelog:

Jul 3, 2010 2.8.0 - Initial public release.

Dec 11, 2010 2.8.2 - This was shipped in the final release of Ultimate Edition 2.8 53 days ago. With ratings like this do I care to come back and keep it updated? Never released to the public.

Dec 11, 2010 2.8.1 - Let's go the other way. Sure seems counter-productive right now. Understanding the motive that drives me a new ball of wax. The version number is correct. I am 2 steps away from stopping the bad mouthing ;) Wait until you see our themes repository. Then I will never have to come back here again.

Split deb into individual mini-packages, allowing the end user to just install the cursor for example, once the repo is added will save over 1 GB of end user hard disk space when all UE themes are installed for example all UE theme packs use the same sound scheme, why have 20 copies of it @ 12MB a piece.

...but i think I'll wait till it's offered separately instead of a DEB package. Nothing against DEB's, just like to be able to install just the GTK theme & not have things I'll never use like screensavers & extra icons added to my small HD. ;-)

 Add Spice, Add Photowheel

I have always like compiz shots. The cylinder is by far the best deformation. For a bit of spice, add the 'Photowheel' plug-in with 4-5 images roughly 500x500 is resolution. Then you will have a completed screenshot with 4-5 more faces for your best graphics.

Anything I drop on gnome look is typically perceived bad, but other numbers I can see tell me otherwise. I have 11 websites & technically 31 download servers. Just one of the 11 sees nothing less then 100,000 pageviews a day not "hits". We are rising to the top. I do not mean to sound cocky, but this very site is bias.

Does a theme make that happen certainly not. I do have some new doors opening for you eyecandy types & will keep them to myself for now.

There are those that wait and those that innovate. Let's see who I am.
