Description:

Equinox engine and themes packaged for Ubuntu.

The archive below contains three DEB packages : first install gtk2-engines-equinox, then equinox-themes and equinox-ubuntu-themes.

Launchpad PPA
Equinox is available to install for Ubuntu users via a PPA repository. Open a terminal and run :
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tiheum/equinox
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install gtk2-engines-equinox equinox-theme equinox-ubuntu-theme

Icon theme is not finished yet. I expect a release in few weeks.

I'll try to make available some 64 bits packages.

Now that's best Lucid theme ever! Can you also make a repository at launchpad PPA and upload it there?

There's a small issue with buttons in Glass Equinox theme, the leftmost (menu) button looks a bit different from the others in its top part (it seems to use dark gradient instead of light one).

Thank you for replying! There's one more thing that affects metacity themes like that (including lucid's default Ambiance/Radiance): some windows have only close button and it looks really out of place when it's all alone. Can anything be done with it?

Sadly no. To my knowlegde, Metatcity don't provide a solution to adapt buttons shapes according to their number or position (same problems on Ambiance and Radiance new themes for Lucid).

...but maybe i'm wrong :)
