Description:

This is my attempt to revive a theme that I liked but never got released.

Because of the close integration between the GTK and Metacity themes you will find:

* That the titlebar font size works best between 8-10 (using sans bold as an example). Depending on your monitor 11-12 may still be acceptable.

* That you cant change the windows background color (due to the GTK and Metacity theme integration).

* That KDE, Java and wxWidgets applications dont look as intended. I am looking into fixing this if possible.

Those points aside if you are like me and 99% of your applications are GTK you should have no problems... and the result look fantastic!

If you find a GTK application that hasnt themed correctly please report it below and I will see what I can do.

And lastly if you have the time it would be great if you could vote and comment on the theme. Note that this is my first attempt at a GTK theme so please be kind :-)

This theme requires the latest Murrine Engine.

Original unreleased theme: http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Aurora+Unified+Suite+%28Preview%29?content=70138.

but, don't forget to keep the line that separates the tree foders to the foders (in the nautilus) a single thin line with the background of the tree divisory have a diferent color (i think that it's better this way, like elementary theme).

I agree with Aturbal. Making nautilus pretty is essential.

Hopefully you'll agree that nautilus looks nice. I didnt go to town on it because the latest version is a lot cleaner than previous ones but I did do a few subtle tweaks to it.

What is the required engine for this theme?

This is for debian based distros only. Too bad, it looks smooth. I'll wait the latest version in fedora repos.

I don't understand. I am on Archlinux, with latest Murrine engine and this theme doesn't work properly.

Any idea ? I'm so frustrated, this theme is awesome.

Hmm I'm running Ubuntu and I've got Murrine 0.90.3+git 2010 02 10.

If you run "metacity --replace" in the command line then change your theme back to the "Unified" theme do you see any errors outputed. It could give you a hint as to what could be wrong?

For example doing the above but using a different theme I have installed I can see "gtkrc:473: Murrine configuration option "gradients" is no longer supported and will be ignored.".

Hi, terminal says :
/home/raph/.themes/Unified/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:110: error: unexpected identifier `arrowstyle', expected character `}'

I don't understand... I tryed with latest stable version from "community deposit" and with git-version in AUR...

But still "win98 style".
