If you mean those texts with shadows, it owes to murrine engine's new options.

No, .tar.gz, I supposed everyone could open it...
It requires gzip installed.
and .tar.xz requires xz-utils.
Anyway, I'm repacking it with tar, please tell me it is supported by your OS :)

Thank you. I've managed to unpack the tar. Unfortunately the theme seems to be broken, I'm getting that default GTK1 look. This is the terminal when I launch a GTK app:

Obviously, you didn't update your engine to date, as such option like separatorstyle is only supported since 3 days ago:

Well, I compiled from GIT again and it still didn't work, but I found an up-to-date PPA and installed a DEB from that. The theme now works. And it's excellent.

Why Skype is not themed when i use this theme? This is the only app that seems to not accept this theme.

it's a .tar file with two directories included along with a panel1.png and an emerald theme. It is supposed to be extracted by file-roller or others.
You need to put those directories under ~/.themes, then you are good to go.

Hello, 0.90.3 is way out of date, it sure doesn't support newer options.
