Description:

PROTOZOA
Original theme By Chuckeye http://users.wincustomize.com/2811415/

Bacterial jellyfish, infectious ectoplasmic and all animated.

For the conversion I used the program perl sd2xc-2.5.pl adds KDE4 Compatibility, and adjusts the individual pointer animations with GIMP and XMC plugin.
Thanks to the GIMP, I have maintained the appearance of 100% original, and adjusted the frame to 64x64 (the max range) so there are no errors display.

all issues that I sent, I have not made them myself, but I just converted and adapted to the GIMP with a maximum resolution for 64x64 frame.

download sd2xc-2.4.pl from http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/CursorXP+to+X11+Mouse+Theme+Converter?content=104659

bye

The images of the cursors are in .xmc (X11 Mouse Cursor) you have to install plugin gimp xmc, download from the site

http://www.gimpstuff.org/content/show.php/X11+Mouse+Cursor+(XMC)+plug-in?content=94503

Ubuntu/Debian or Fedora packages

have fun

download from http://ul.to/70h8qz the file gimp-xmc_2.0.6-1_i386.tar.gz, uncompress and copy file-xmc to /usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/
if the path is right, you can load the files xmc.

 gimp xmc plugin and opensuse

this is in response to Strahlin. Thanks dude. Opensuse can be a pain for installing non-zypper packages. Just one precision if any other suse folks are interested in viewing or editing icons and cursors: make sure you copy the extracted xmc-file (to ~/lib64/...)and not the installed xmc-file that automatically installs to /usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plugins.
It actually makes sense: rem we're installing an ix86 tarball on our 64-bit systems...

 Gorgeous ! But incomplete ?

By far, the best cursor I've ever seen. Strange enough to be agreeably dazzled :)

But... I'm using it on Ubuntu 10.4; it correctly works as it should on every application. But when switching to desktop, the default ubuntu cursor is displayed, instead protozao... Any idea of why?

Ubuntu 10.04 small bug in Compiz does not allow you to change the pointer ... if you disable visualizations Everything works fine. We hope that the problem is resolved. Hello!

Thanks for clues... resolved using https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/141500/comments/17 workaround.

I can enjoy a complete life immersion, now :)
