Very nice but your download only contain 'aeric-blue-dark' and 'aeric-red'. I'm interested with your 3rd screen shot above, some kind of green color. How can I get it?

Thanks for your kind feedback!

Both themes will "adapt" to the GTK theme currently used on your system: for example if you have
a GTK theme with a green tone (3rd screenshot), then the XFCE theme (window bar and buttons) will
have a predominantly green colour. The same goes for an orange GTK theme (2nd screenshot) or any other color,
xfce-aeric simply "blends" in the GTK theme to fit its colors.

In fact the difference between 'xfce-aeric-red' and 'xfce-aeric-blue-dark' is the color of the "close" button on an active window (it's the only element I chose to impose a color on it).

Each screenshot illustrates both 'xfce-aeric-red' and 'xfce-aeric-blue-dark' with different GTK themes (based on the Murrine GTK engine):

shot 1: custom GTK theme (not released)
shot 2: MurrinaOranche (http://www.cimitan.com/murrine/themes/gallery)
shot 3: MurrinaEalm (from the debian package called 'murrina-themes')

I have to admin the screen captures look confusing, I might replace them with new ones soon.

That's the very reason I voted bad -- why do people on here feel like they have to impersonate Vista? Especially when it's a piece of crap? I for one don't like the thought of my desktop looking like the Edsel of operating systems.

People like you have no place in the open source world as far as I am concerned. The great thing is we have choice, some people like these themes. In fact sometimes it makes transitioning to linux much easier for non-technical users. Don't like it? Go find another theme, better yet, go make one yourself.

Are people not aloud to be inspired by non free OS like OSX or Windows? That is bullshit, those UI's were designed by professionals and it shows. Obviously enthusiasts will be inspired by it. Whining like a little girl about it and voting peoples great work down just cause you have a grudge against a corporation is the silliest and stupidest thing ever. Great work does not deserve bad votes regardless of the inspiration.
