Description:

This new and original theme I built it entirely with Inkscape. The first pLines mouse theme was 32 pixels, and the second was 48 pixels, and now is multisized 40, 48, 56 and 64 pixels. Cursor is a very simple, but is fully animated. It is based primarily on a point and two Lines. The concept is to start the animation from the main cursor (left_ptr), making slow rotations, translations and copy on the one or two lines, until the desired cursor. You can see the grabbing cursor in image preview2. It's great, my friends have liked it, and I hope that you too.

I added it symlinks for some cursors required for Steam, and all required for KDE and Gnome. I have tested it in KDE with Kwin, Gnome 2.x, Gnome 3.x, Unity and it works great.

If you don't know how to install it, please go to link http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Alkano?content=158776, and change the name Alkano by pLines in all instructions.

I hope you like it. Thanks.

Changelog:

  • Jul/2013 ver 1.3- Now is multisized 40 48 56 y 64 pixels. New animation, and new pointers

  • Mar/2013 ver 0.2- I changed the full theme: was it 32 pixels, and now it's 48 pixels. it has new animations.

  • Mar/2013 ver 0.1- Initial release.

It pleases me to change the look of my system from time to time. Only with pLines that does not work. I can try as hard as I want to use a different pointer theme, after some hours I return to pLines. ;-)

The same goes for me. I like the concept of the Plines theme. Very soon I will update it with new ideas. Right now I'm working hard on my Alkano theme, including new variations.

You wait for Plines news, very soon.
    Thanks for the comment.
