Description:

Required engines:
- Murrine-git (or from Lucid Lynx)
- Equinox 1.1

IPORTANT NOTE: I've dumped styles for official Nautilus and focused on Nautilus-elementary 2.30 instead. It's recommended to have it installed. If you don't like Nautilus-elementary, there's a solution for it in included README.

Be sure to read included README!

Changelog:

0.4 (2010.05.23):
- retouched Nautilus-elementary (including breadcrumbs)
- retouched Thunar
- changed statusbar
- new, smaller progressbar
- scrollbar has been slightly changed
- new panel buttons
- tabs, entry and spin are now handled by Murrine
- treeview items recolored
- menu item color recolored
- added some small fixes for GIMP

0.3 (2010.04.20):
- text and combo entries are now rendered by Equinox
- retouched progressbar
- buttons are brighter
- new panel buttons and background
- changed treeview background for selected item
- toolbar is now rendered by Murrine (this will work as a fix for globalmenu users)
- statusbar is now rendered by Murrine
- Nautilus look is completely remade
- Thunar also got new look (similar to Nautilus's)
- Included various fixed for Eye Of Gnome, Midori and Epiphany.

0.2 (2010.04.08):
- removed orb from scrollbar
- created additional versions for Nautilus 2.30
- created tweaked version for Pidgin IM
- other subtle changes

Well, breadcrumbs doesn't work because they aren't implemented.
However, breadcrumbs will be built directly into Nautilus-elementary so they will be available for every GTK theme.

When this will happen, I don't know.

"Window borders" = Metacity themes. I didn't made one, so you won't find it.
To get matching Metacity theme, install elementary GTK theme (also called eGTK), which has Metacity theme included (last link in download section).

 nautilus-elementary breadcrumb

Nice theme, and very good alternative to the elementary theme.
In your screenshot, you've got an arrow on the right-hand-side of the breadcrumb but I don't get that arrow/image in mine.
Is there anything I can change in the theme to get that?

You must enable breadcrumbs in tweaks menu (which can be found in preferences dialog of Nautilus-elementary).
You can also manually enable them in gconf-editor:
/apps/nautilus/preferences/pathbar_like_breadcrumbs (must be enabled).

Thank you.
I haven't played around with Nautilus-elementary, so I didn't have an idea. Now, it looks the way its meant to.

 Change side panel color

weakhead, in my opinion this is the best variation of the elementary theme i've seen. Great job, really!

I like so much this theme that i would like to use it with a different palette of colors, but i have problem identifying the right parameter for the side panel color. Is it possible to change this value? If so, can you give me some tips?

Thanks!

I assume that you're talking about sidebar in Nautilus?
If so, then there are 2 ways to edit it's color:

1) Open /path_to/elementary EM/gtk-2.0/gtkrc and edit value of
gtk_color_scheme = "fm_color:#EBEBEB"
(line 9) to what you desire - however, this will affect more than just the sidebar.

2) Open /path_to/elementary EM/gtk-2.0/nautilus.rc and modify colors used in style "nautilus-sidebar" = "theme-thin" (lines 1-43) and style "nautilus-sidebar-title" (lines 53-97). Simply put, change @fm_color to the color you like.
This way, you'll affect only sidebar and it's header.

Thank you for the answer, weakhead.

Actually I've found a workaround adding some line in the gtkrc, without affecting the whole theme. :)
