Description:

Just a dark theme for gtk2. Requires engines "mist", "thinice", and "glide". Chances are they're already installed on your system.

Easy on the eyes, especially in dark work environments.

Place contents of tarball into ~/.themes (for 1 user) or /usr/share/themes (for all users) to install, then edit ~/.gtkrc-2.0 or select with gtk-theme-switch or use the gnome-settings thingy.

Changelog:

0.1: yay!
0.2: updated colors. i hope for the better.
0.3: changed colors again, darkened theme
0.4: improved readability, colors.
0.5: small improvements/changes
0.6: cleanup, general update, uses thinice+glide now

Just a suggestion.

Reading the text in the tabs is really difficult : making the text a little more darker would help.

i updated the theme. if you have not already changed the colors yourself, maybe this update is useful to you.

I don't have any experience with Qt, never used it. I guess there are theme engines for Qt that mimic the looks of your gtk theme.. Apart from trying that, I can't think of another way to fit your Qt apps in than to use a similar engine and copy the colors. Anyway, good luck.

I only get a couple of empty folders zipped together. Sad that cos I already voted good based on previews alone :D the flat goodness! :D

Any chance of just pasting the text file someplace? Ta!

You must have missed the file. There is a file named gtkrc in the folder that contains the style. just dump the folder dmist in ~/.themes. It will work.

A dark theme that is clean, simple and easy on the eyes. Thank you!
