Description:

This font is pretty old. It only looks legible in the large sizes and it's only lowercase. Still, I like it :)

Download the font. You may have to right-click on the link and choose 'Save Link As...' and then rename the file from 'download.php' to 'binkie.ttf' like I had to.

Once saved, browse to where you saved it, right click on the font icon and go to the 'Actions' sub-menu, choose Install. KDE will ask if you want to install for yourself or for the entire system; if you have access to the root password, you can install for the system, else, you'll have to install locally.

There are harder, command-line ways of doing this, but this is KDE, and KDE makes font installing easy. ;)

if you have a ~/.fonts/ folder, you can just move the .ttf file in there and then next time you start x (or start a program) it should be in there :)

You can create the folder.
In you home dir just run this command:
mkdir .fonts
the "." means its hidden. ON ubuntu you should have the folder my default.
You can find it in the terminal my using "ls -a" it will list all files/folders even the hidden ones.

Cheers,
Bandit

I do, indeed, love this font. There is a problem that exists in Gaim. At normal size, the font is very, very, tiny. The problem isn't so apparent in things like OpenOffice, but is there a chance you could test/fix/and update this?
