Description:

XFCE-Slatebrush-Theme
Full XFCE theme with XFWM theme.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
UPDATE 03-09-2010:
XFCE-Slatebrush-1.2
Bug fix....replaced the missing null shadow in panel.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
UPDATE 02-16-2010:
XFCE-Slatebrush-1.1
The inactive window manager buttons have been changed in coloring. Before, the buttons were adjusted with a lower contrast giving them a glazed over appearance. Now the inactive buttons are just shaded darker to give the effect they are turned off. Also, changed the fg color on the progress bar, which was hard to see because the text was too light. The color has been darkened to near black color.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a re-do of the Silverbrush theme with dark slate colored panels. Because of the need to reverse colors on fonts and changes to buttons, the theme has been uploaded as a separate theme.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
02-14-2010:
Slatebrush runs on the murrine engine and module themes of Pewterburg-Gold, Starzburg and Silverbrush.

Included in the themepack are two XFWM themes, Slatebrush-XFWM and Slatebrush-XMAC. The XFWM has the window buttons on right hand corner, while the XMAC has the buttons set up on the left hand corner.

Screenshots:
Top: Shows Xine Player, Opera browser, and Firefox browser with drop-down menu (Slatebrush-XFWM).
Middle: Mines game and the GIMP with slider buttons, scroll-bars, and tooltip with slate background (Slatebrush-XFWM).
Bottom: Mac-style with left hand buttons. Main menu and bottom panel with Pewterburg-Gold icons (Slatebrush-XMAC).

More info on the Pewterburg-Icon theme:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Instructions from the Readme file:

GTK 2.x
Pixmap Engine or Loaders
Murrine Engine (SVN version)
Pewterburg-Color icon theme (optional)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
There are two XFWM themes. Slatebrush-XFWM has the window buttons in the right
corner, and the Slatebrush-XMAC has the window buttons in the left corner.

To install the Slatebrush-XFWM (or XMAC) theme:

For system wide (All Users):
Copy Slatebrush-XFWM or Slatebrush-XMAC (or both) folder into your themes directory (/usr/share/themes)

For single user (Only You):
Copy Slatebrush-XFWM or Slatebrush-XMAC (or both) folder into your 'Hidden File' ~/.themes directory (/home/(username)/.themes)

Select Slatebrush-XFWM or Slatebrush-XMAC from Settings > Window Manager > Style

 Well done!

Personally, I'm a GNOME user, but on occasion I like to see what's being uploaded to the other OpenDesktop.org affiliate websites. I must say that I like this one! In fact, this weekend, while my wife's out of town, I might just have to see if I can make a version of this for GNOME/Metacity. Well done! :-)

I am glad you like it. Let me know if there are any improvements desired, as I do not use and test every XFCE or GTK application.
