UPDATE: 01-31-2010 XFCE-Pewterburg-Gold 1.6
There was a problem with some tab corners not lining correctly. The tab graphics are fixed in the updated version 1.6.

UPDATE: 01-30-2010
Updated the icon theme to version 1.6 (download available below).
The icon theme has some new icons, and many of the icons have been re-aligned horizontally, so that they are not at alternating angles.

UPDATE: 01-29-2010 XFCE-Pewterburg-Gold 1.5
24kt Gold is the new default color theme for the scrollbars, progressbars, and sliders. Pewterburg is still easy to customize... just follow the directions in the Readme file if you like the burgundy or pewter colored scrollbar themes.
The bottom screenshot shows the 24kt theme with golden scrollbars, burgundy progressbar, pewter sliders which highlight to gold when hovered or pressed. Also in the screenshot are the pewter colored theme in the top left, and the burgundy colored theme in the bottom left of the screenshot.

UPDATE: 01-26-2010 XFCE-Pewterburg-Gold 1.4
Pewterburg now has some neat scrollbars, progressbars, and slider buttons. There are two colored versions; the burgundy colored bars are the default colors. But Pewterburg is easily configurable; you can change the bar colors to pewter through the gtkrc file. The gtkrc file does not contain the theme modules, only the include lines, so you don't have to scroll through hundreds of lines of code to find the line to edit.

The Readme.txt file in the zip file shows how easy it is to change:

To change theme and change the color of scroll and progress bars to pewter or burgundy:

Open the gtkrc file with a text editor.
Insert a comment tag "#" in front of the line which includes "24kt.rc"
Remove the comment tag from the line which includes "pewter.rc" or "burgundy.rc"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
UPDATE: 01-24-2010
Updated the icon theme to version 1.5 (download available below).
I'm also trying out a new free filesharing website for storing the icon file, so let me know if the Bestsharing.com download works or not.

UPDATE: 01-19-2010
There were a few icons in the icon theme with incorrect permissions. Be sure to check out the update at the link below, and download the version 1.2 of the icon theme.

UPDATE: 01-15-2010 XFCE-Pewterburg-Gold 1.3
The Menu Bar theme is completed! The custom Menu Bar is a dark-theme-menubar style which uses lighter fonts in the foreground of the menu bar. Many dark-theme menu bars do not work with applications such as Firefox and OpenOffice because these applications have their own chrome theming. But Pewterburg magically inverts the font color back to those applications.

Of course, if you do not like the Menu Bar, the readme file in the zip file shows you how to easily revert back to the plain menu bar in Pewterburg 1.2:

To change theme and remove the custom colored Menu Bar:

Open the gtkrc file with a text editor.
Insert a comment tag "#" in front of the line which includes "pbmenu.rc"
Remove the comment tag from the line which includes "nomenu.rc"

Screenshot #2 in the middle shows off the new Menu Bar.

UPDATE: 01-09-2010 XFCE-Pewterburg-Gold 1.2
There are custom designed tabs now which work on XFCE applications as well as Seamonkey/Firefox. The buttons are now colored, with hover/prelight effects.
The top screenshot shows off the new buttons and tabs.
If you downloaded the Pewterburg-Gold-1.2 zip file, there was a minor cosmetic change to lighten the color of buttons and fix a bug in the Places panel button. The update is in Pewterburg-Gold-1.2.1.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
UPDATE: 01-04-2010 XFCE-Pewterburg-Gold 1.1
I created some new menu buttons that look more stylish. They are in the XFWM-Pewterburg-Gems folder. The bottom screenshot shows off the new buttons.

UPDATE: 01-03-2010 XFCE-Pewterburg-Gold 1.0

but when I installed the GTK2 theme, I can use both the theme & XFWM theme fine in XFCE, but in Gnome, the theme manager keeps telling me "This theme will not look as intended because the required Window Manager theme 'Pewterburg-Metacity' is not installed. Is that just a bug because there isn't said gnome metacity theme, or if there is, where is it? Can't seem to find it anywhere. {Sniff} ;-)
