A new fantastic Conky, with current weather, forecast (one day next) and current moon phase !

ITALIANO

Ciao a tutti :-) ! Stanco di conky meteo SOLO in inglese o non completamente funzionanti, o di meteo senza direzione del vento - praticamente è il vento che fa la differenza tra una bella giornata calda (vento secco - maestrale/tramontana/grecale) e una calda e afosa (scirocco/mezzogiorno/libeccio) - o di applicazioni ciuccia risorse, mi sono deciso a scrivere questo Conky.

ISTRUZIONI

- Installa curl !
- ACCERTATI DI AVERE INSTALLATI I FONT CONKYWEATHER !
- metti i file nascosti .ppw.sh .ppmoon.sh .pplang.sh .ppday2.sh e .conkyrc nella tua /home/user/
e rendili eseguibili
- metti la cartella nascosta .moon nella tua /home/user/
- !!! MODIFICA IL CODICE LOCALITA' NEL FILE .CONKYRC !!! (linea 139) !!!
cercalo su https://www.edg3.uk/snippets/weather-location-codes/italy/
- modifica l'ultima linea di .conkyrc per visualizzare il logo del tuo Sistema Operativo

Nota 1: potresti dover correggere il parametro gap x nel .conkyrc
Nota 2: aspetta qualche minuto affinchè diventi completamente operativo

Hello guys :-)

- Install curl !
- CHECK YOU HAVE INSTALLED FONT CONKYWEATHER !
- put the hidden files .ppw.sh .ppmoon.sh .pplang.sh .ppday2.sh and .conkyrc in your /home/user/
and make them executable
- put the hidden folder .moon in your /home/user/
- !!! CHANGE THE LOCATION CODE IN .CONKYRC FILE !!! (line 150)
search your code on https://www.edg3.uk/snippets/weather-location-codes/
- change the last line of .conkyrc for see your System logo
- ATTENTION : you can change language changing words (after echo) in .pplang.sh and .ppmoon.sh

Note 1: you may need to change parameter gap x in .conkyrc
Note 2: wait a few minutes to see the Conky fully functional

launch conky and good fun :-)

Fixed .conkyrc and the weather refreshing time set to 30 minutes. When you turn on the pc, you may read the weather of the past session : don't worry (!) because it will refresh in 30 minutes °_^ ....:-)

Grazie a te :-) ...Questa è la linea corretta per la Luna (il file python NON deve avere i permessi, ma fai delle prove comunque :
${offset 50}${color brown}Luna${color darkorange} ${font Verdana:size=11}${exec python ~/.luna/moonphase.py} ${image ~/.luna/moon.png -p 230,600 -s 47x47}

circa il vento, hai dato i permessi a .ppwind.sh ?

Gia che ci metti le mani, ho errori anche per quanto riguarda le rappresentazioni grafiche del tempo di oggi e domani , sostituite da lettere maiuscole o minuscole di vari colori

L'errore riguardante le lettere che appaiono al posto delle immagini temo dipenda dall'aver io trascurato la tua avvertenza

I font sono nel pacchetto .rar. Scarica di nuovo il pacchetto (che tra l'altro ho aggiornato) e segui le istruzioni, lì c'è tutto °_^

Per i font : metti i font Conkyweather nella cartella .fonts (se non ce l'hai, creala, nella tua /home/user/) e poi da terminale dai fc-cache -fv.
Riavvia conky e questo è tutto.

Later you have to do instruction of my conky step-by step. If you have some problems, go to fedora forum of your country. Bye and thank you :-)

Il sito in oggetto, da cui venivano presi i dati meteo, sembra definitivamente down con conseguente non funzionamento del conkyrc.
C'è speranza di una modifica per prendere i dati altrove?

Ciao Pippolo :-) me ne sono accorto anche io, figurati, ma è successo anche a giugno del 2015 e poi, dopo qualche giorno, il sito tornò operativo.
Che dirti, aspetto ancora qualche giorno, dopodichè provvederò a modificare il Conky. Pazienta ! :-)

Però visto che non è la prima volta, forse non sarebbe meglio - se hai tempo e voglia - prendere i dati da un servizio più "solido" tipo accuweather o yahoo?
