Previously known as choconome, Santay allows customization of all colors of the window, including the dark edges of the window, you only have to define these colors into appearance> customize> colors, and changing the values of the tooltip background and foreground tooltip.

This package includes 5 themes with different colors, you have two different styles, the original santay and santay Hardline based on this mockup:https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Artwork/Incoming/Hardy/Alternate/Hardline, both are totally customizable.

additionally take away the property of bold titles of the windows, go to appearance > tipography.

Hi there. I'm the guy who created the mockup :) Just noticed this theme while surfing gnome-look... looks good! Try using the panel-bg shipped with the dust theme for the top/bottom panels, looks pretty smooth. Keep on the good work!

 metacity?

by MikeDK on: Oct 9 2008

why do you remove the edge from windowborders, and the ability to grab the edge and make the window smaller?

And the metacity is to small for windows, dosnt fit the window, looks like its not attached to the windows actually

One more thing, the color is a bit too greyish in my opinion, sort of destroys the whole look of the theme, maybe an update with a little more brown, not to much thou, but just so it mixes in with the whole impression of the theme??

Kind Regards MikeDK

yes, Actually I noted the problem with the metacity, I'm working on it... about the color, I really like the color, just it's a little bit darker than the ubuntu's default theme, anyway, you can change the color in the appearance window, or maybe you can suggest me a color.

By far the most professional looking brown theme I've seen yet. It's not perfect, but I truly wish that the Ubuntu art team would use this as a jumping off point. Compared to 8.10's dark theme, this is leagues ahead!

Kudos!

Very nice; attractive, understated and tasteful. They're all good, and "Chocolate" is my favourite. I like Ubuntu, but I'm not so fond of the default themes or "yet another looks like Win/Mac blue/black/whatever", so this makes a nice replacement.

Hi first off i'd like to say congrats on a very nice, visually appealing theme, one that i'd certainly like to use frequently. At the moment however i can't really do this as im having lots of problems with your metacity theme, i don't know if this is just because i am missing a theme engine or something? also certain applications seem to be all but unusable for me including firefox
