Description:

PROTOZOA
Original theme By Chuckeye http://users.wincustomize.com/2811415/

Bacterial jellyfish, infectious ectoplasmic and all animated.

For the conversion I used the program perl sd2xc-2.5.pl adds KDE4 Compatibility, and adjusts the individual pointer animations with GIMP and XMC plugin.
Thanks to the GIMP, I have maintained the appearance of 100% original, and adjusted the frame to 64x64 (the max range) so there are no errors display.

 In Ubuntu 11.10 only works Protozoa-Green

In Ubuntu 11.10 only works Protozoa-Green, the others (red, blue and grey) are not converted to be used on Unity.

Somebody is able to fix that?

Pointers to work well, they need a file inside the folder (cursor.theme), and Protozoa-red blue gray, are ready to work, see my video here http://www.youtube.com/watch? v = r57CVpRUpCk

if you want the pointer in lightdm you must edit the file /var/lib/gconf/debian.defaults/%gconf-tree.xml and replace DMZ-White with your pointer.

I use it on all my systems. I miss the icons, background, xfwm and gtk2/3 theme for this.
P.S.: What kind of cuties are the cursors?

 64px version for the Hi-DPI peeps among us

Just converted the Grey theme using GIMP.

If you want to convert another color, here's what I did in GIMP.

For each image (there's 20 images, the rest are symlinks. Use "file" to see which are symlinks, and which are "X11 Cursor"):

* scale image to 200%
* export as xmc
* Size dropdown "64px"
* tic "Replace the size of all frames even if it is specified" radio button
* Export
* remove .xmc suffix (or recreate symlinks to point to your new file...or move .xmc images to prior non-xmc file - there a few ways to accomplish the same. Whichever floats your boat.)

There's probably (definitely) a more efficient way to do all of the above (tried imagemagick first to no avail). If you know what that way is, please share for future reference.
