Description:

Hello my name is Mark Bassett aka MarkyB86 and I created this theme called PlatiNomNom based on the 3d window style used in Mac OS 8 and 9. I reccomend getting the GTK2 theme Classico to go with it if you can find in on Gnome-look. This theme is only for XFWM4. It is the first theme I have created from scratch and I hope you can enjoy it as much as I do. Thanks for looking!

Changelog:

10/13/2012 - v1.3 released - cleaned up the extra thick black borders outside of the beveled edges. fixed maximized window buttons to show correctly and always show window borders as mac os does.

10/11/2012 - v1.2 released - fixed window buttons overlapping the stripes of the title bar background. still does this when maximized and I currently cannot find information on why, so it has to stay that way for now.

10/10/2012 - v1.0 released

I am enjoying this theme a lot. I found a Charcoal font online for the window titles, which adds to the old timey look.

Awesome! I'm very glad you like it! I had searched for a font that could go well with it as well. There was one that looks like Chicago from the older system 6 or 7 I believe. It's a little too thick though.

Charcoal is a lot like Chicago - it is thick. I only use it for Window titles, and I don't specify bold. For everything else, I use a font called Geneva, which Apple used back then.

Ahh that's right. I'll have to locate that one. Thanks!
