Description:

Numix Holo is a flat, slick theme containing:
- A GTK+ 2/3 theme
- An Xfce window decoration (Xfwm4) theme
- An Xfce notification style

It's a fork of Numix, but uses Android blue instead of red, hence the name. Note that unlike its parent, Numix Holo is focused only on Xfce. It does not contain a Unity, Metacity or Openbox theme.

Note: Please install this theme (or any theme) under /usr/share/themes as opposed to ~/.themes, or else root apps (like Synaptic and GPartEd) won't follow the theme.

======

A word about fonts
I personally recommend a font called Titillium Web (see screenshots) with this theme. And of course, Roboto (Android's default) looks great as well. Both fonts are free and open source, and can be found at the links below, and also at Google Fonts.

Changelog:

0.4.1: A coupla fixes (thanks to Sudaraka again)
- removed that black dot that appeared on titlebar icons
- had forgotten to holo-ify a few GTK3 widgets; fixed that

0.4: "Yeah, I'm alive! ;)"
- Added shade button to the Xfwm theme
- Fixed the bug where text became unreadable in some apps, like Ubuntu Software Center
- Other changes from upstream

0.3
- Added stick button to the Xfwm theme
- Colour improvements from upstream

0.2
- Added an Xfce notification style (thanks to Sudaraka Wijesinghe)
- Added a readme

0.1
- Initial release

 Nice, but...

Ok, its any system message that isn't very readable.

Now I've tested all of my programs with this theme, its not just Synaptic, Firefox, and Gparted that don't follow the theme and look bad, but many programs.

Not criticizing the theme, I still like it, but I'd like it even more if it didn't make over half my programs look bad. :)

Hi,

One common thing about the apps you mentioned, is that all of them seem to be GTK3. So may be some tweaking is needed there.

I'll look into this. Thank you for your feedback.

 Another suggestion :)

One other thing - in things like the ubuntu software manager, the white text on light grey is impossible to read. Same with other system details.

Not trying to make this theme seem bad, it's an amazing theme, just a few niggles before it's ready to be the theme I suggest to others.

Keep up the good work.

Yes, of course, there're certainly a few rough edges to polish before we can call it 1.0. Thank you for your feedback. It helps a lot.

There you go! The readability issue shoulda been solved now. And talking about apps not following the theme, Synaptic and GPartEd are root apps. So if you install the theme under ~/.themes, they won't follow. Try installing under /usr/share/themes instead, and tell me if it works now.

It's the one part of the theme that destroys the whole look: https://gyazo.com/05e3b671452add5be942e6f6f0ecd6b1
