Description:

Easy on the eyes with original, Vista-inspired buttons.

This is not a Vista clone, but an original theme inspired by the look of Vista. After all, this is GNU/Linux, not Windows.

The truly nice theme - a bit Vistaish, which is, apart from being MS main theme these days, rather cool. And with original buttons that are not like Aero's - that's what i call beauty.
Btw, you have that blur effect in your theme. Is it only on screenshot or is it a problem of my video settings, that prevent me of seing that effect?
Thanx

Assuming you have the following installed:

Compiz
CompizConfig Settings Manager
Emerald Theme Manager

Open Emerald Theme Manager, click the Emerald Settings tab, and make sure Compiz Decoration Blur Type is set to something besides "All decorations".

Then, in CCSM, under Effects, enable the Blur Windows plugin. The blur in my screenshot is based on the default plugin settings, but play around with it if you want.

Thanx, bro!
I thought i was doomed to tune my video driver and X-server settings again... ;-)

And by the way - no blur occurs for me in Mandriva 2008 with Compiz-Fusion until you set the "Alpha Blur" option in the Blur windows screen of CCSM. And it's better to use Gaussian blur instead of "4x Bilinear", that stands by default. Gaussian blur has some tweakable options right there, int the same "Blur windows" screen.
Thank you again =)

Great work you've done here. It's good to see someone take inspiration from Vista's theme and actually *improve* on it, rather than adding to the huge pile of clones. I love the italicized button icons, BTW-- I don't think I've seen that in any other themes. Keep up the good work!
