conky 1.9.0, with lua and cairo binding.
In Ubuntu like distros it's conky-all,
and I am using conky-lua on Arch based Manjaro Linux Desktop.

I am not able to understand your question, please be more clear,

about your operating system
and what you are trying to do with the downloaded file

then I can help you specifically with the setup.

lua_load ~/.conky05/rings1-2.lua

на это:

lua_load ~/conky-manager/themes/conky05/config/rings1-2.lua

Затем просто выбираем тему conky05 из списка в Conky Manager.

Sorry translate.google:

You are using an old and uncomfortable way to install conky.
To apply it to kill the previously installed theme conky.

Better use conky-manager! There you can easily change the theme without losing the old. I added this theme to conky-manager. In the downloaded folder you want to create a folder config. Move it conkyrc and rings1-2.lua. Then open the conkyrc and remove it:

lua_load ~/.conky05/rings1-2.lua

write it:

lua_load ~/conky-manager/themes/conky05/config/rings1-2.lua

Then just choose a theme from the list in conky05 to Conky Manager

Установка Conky Manager:
Installing Conky Manager:

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:teejee2008/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install conky-manager

P.S. Здесь темы для Conky размещают в Desklets или Screenlets.
Here themes for Conky placed in Desklets or Screenlets.

Please change the line conkyrc and lua file which calls for the /media/win-D readings "because that is a fat32 partition on my system" to whatever partitions you have on your system
eg:
/home/????
or
/root
or
/var/run/media/???? ( for these manual mount partitions you get readings once mounted or you will get error)

Thankyou....
