Description:

Updated

Now Geoffrey is Compiz compatible!

New sounds:
Glass Shattering on Window close
Fireball on Window open
Many others (86 sounds in all)

This is Geoffrey. He is your butler and will narrate your desktop. This is a novelty sound theme and is not intended for every day use... although there probably are some people that would like this sort of thing. (I use it all day)

To install:
unzip Geoffrey.zip
open terminal in the directory where you unzipped
sudo cp -R Geoffrey/ /usr/share/sounds/
System > Preferences > Sound
Select Geoffrey

That's it.

I'm glad you enjoy this :)
I think a female voice would be a nice variation on this actually. Unfortunately I just don't have the time to put it together :/

Making a sound theme is pretty simple really. Just follow the specifications set out here:
http://freedesktop.org/wiki/Specifications/sound-theme-spec
