GTK 2.x Theme/Style

Updated:  Jul 19 2010

Description:

This is a lighter variation on the \"WoodenHead\" GTK theme. This is also an attempt to emulate the color of the wood in Mozilla Firefox\'s \"Walnut\" or \"Walnut 2\" themes and apply them to the rest of your GNOME or Xfce desktop.

In addition, the following are shown in the screenshot, all of which can be found on GNOME-Look:

Emerald Theme: Oaks

Icon Theme: Desert

Wallpaper: Alley Spring Mill (a photo of the Alley Spring Mill, nestled deep in the heart of the Ozarks about 5 miles or so west of Eminence, Missouri)

Please let me know what y\'all think of this theme. Thanx, and enjoy! :-)

Changelog:

Modified some color settings in the GTKRC file to correct a few minor color annoyances, as I originally created this in a little bit of a rush the other day.

As an occasional woodworker I like this theme. It's good to have earthy themes.

I voted thumbs up for the effort. I prefer cleaner looking themes tbh but you did a good job on this one.

 Where's the Metacity-1 folder?

Is anybody else missing the borders for this theme, ie, usually what's found in the metacity-1 folder?

Other than that, awesome theme!

I created this as purely a stand-alone GTK theme and wasn't really planning to, but if there winds up being a whole lot of demand for it, I might get around to cooking up something in that department, too.

Personally, I was content to do kind of a two-time look with the Emerald theme, as you can see in the screenshot, plus I also told you what Emerald theme I'm using, too. In my opinion, I think there are several different Metacity, Xfwm, or Emerald themes this would look good with, although, as they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Oh, ok. I was just curious as to when I installed your theme, I didn't get the pretty borders you had in your screenshots, that's all. Thanks.
