Description:

I loved the Ambiance theme developed by the Ubuntu folks.

However, it was too rounded for my taste. This theme is simply less rounded, has slightly modified window borders and uses a different button layout. Nothing else has been changed from the original theme.

I would like to add that I have no idea about building GTK and Metacity themes, hence my changes may not be entirely correct.

This theme works for me and I hope it does for you too.

UPDATE:
Updated to use the new Ambiance theme available with Ubuntu 10.10

Include breadcrumbs in theme

Thanks.

Hi,

I updated the theme to include the breadcrumb images.

If you wish to use the images only, they are in gtk-2.0/breadcrumbs/ directory.

I got them from Elementary-Mod GTK theme combined with the nautilus breadcrumb hack - http://www.webupd8.org/2010/04/nautilus-elementary-breadcrumbs-for-any.html

Not sure if thats the cleanest way to do it.. but works.

You can also find a cool looking breadcrumb in the Fundamental Round 2 theme.

ok, thanks, i implemented my own breadcrumbs for the deviantArt theme from there, too. i see how you got it working, you have a gradient so it's not blocky on the end, okay, maybe i'll give it a go. thanks, again.
