 Badly packaged

Gtk-2.0 Alegre.tar.gz is badly packaged, it should contain Alegre folder, not Gtk-2.0 Alegre/Alegre . System, Preferences, Appearance won't accept it otherwise.

 Lovin' it!

Hi!

Thank you for this theme! I really enjoy it because you're combined my two favourite themes!

Please continue developing this hybrid! What I'd love to see is a round slider-knob for volume and similar range-sliders. The one right now looks too Clearlook'ish... ;)

The GnuMobile Theme (http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/GnuMobile?content=96331) has the sort of round slider-knobs that I mean.

 Not the right choice?

Hi again!

My apologies - but I think the new Wave-based approach was a bad choice.

The old release actually combined the elegance of the Dust-theme with the (also elegant) usability of Shiki. This was just great!

The new 1.5 release does not accept individual color-choices like 1.0 did. The whole thing looks unfinished and - to put it simple - it looks just like an unfinished, buggy Wave-theme.

I really appreciate your effort with the rounded sliders in version 1.5! But don't make your theme look so bad just to get them!

For now I've returned to using your 1.0 release, which is still available at http://www.megaupload.com/?d=QRUVW6KT - It simply is the better choice for me right now.

you're right.
My decision was to make a fork of the issue with the engine pixmap

pd: try to improve the version Clearlooks

 Excellent! But.....Firefox?

Great theme! I love the all dark theme - best I've found so far to darken my desktop. One question/problem:

On Firefox, my menu bar changed to the dark black color and looks great. But the bookmarks toolbar and the tabs are still the default grey. I think this is the first gnome theme I've tried that isn't gray-based, so I don't know if it should work or not.

I installed the Stylish plugin and script, but that just seemed to adjust the margins and the font a little...it didn't fix the colors. Is there anyway to have the gnome theme affect all of Firefox? Or should I bring this up on the mozillazine forums?

Ask MozillaZine forums.

bookmarks bar by default is the color of the input boxes

pd:
if you could pass a screen of your problem would be easier to help
