the part below the window title bar, the part that is shaded from black to grey....how would one go about making that area transparent? i know this probably isnt the right place to ask, but i just thought of it so why not

also, in appearance, i'm not allowed to change the colors. i need to because some websites like myspace has a white text entry, and white text..any way to change this?

I have changed the font colours so that the text shows up OK on myspace.

If you find any other sites with problems please let me know.

The new version has been uploaded.

I don't believe it is possible for it to be transparent. If it is possible, I don't know how to do it.

Hopefully someone with more experience will correct me if I am wrong.

Are these light versions any use?

You may want to try a different metacity with them.

yea, these are great, thanks. i'll admit that i just wanted that "diffuse" effect (im assuming thats what it's called) that you have in this theme. it looks great with this emerald theme im using.
thanks again

by the way, the new cairo-dock configuration menu has that transparency in other parts of the window.......so if anyone is in here reading along, that's what i was talkin about. still trying to get it in other windows
