Ubuntu is better than Kubuntu

Description:

I am tired of everyone saying that KDE and Kubuntu is better than Gnome and Ubuntu. Gnome may have a few bad things but in my opinion is still the best.

This group has been made to compete with the Kubuntu is better than Ubuntu group.

If soon all you lazy Desktop Enviroment/Distribution/Browser fighters dont stop, many user moves back to Microsoft Windows.

How hard it is understand that you ALL are using SAME software, SAME idealogy, SAME Operating System, SAME kind opinions... You should be ONE family... you should stick together and not fight against each others!

If you want to promote your own damn XYZ, then do GOOD for it. Do not promote it over others... Do not blame other's as "they are wrong/bad/stupid and we are right/good/wise"...

I'm sick of you guys... Is it SO DAMN HARD TO BE NICE AND WORK TOGETHER?!?

Read these lines slowly and with think what you read.....

- Fight with Fire against Fire and everything will burn.

- An eye for an eye leaves everybody blind.

- What you think you become

So, next time when you want to promote XYZ, do not think it's better than other's ZYX... Live together, work together... have fun together.

Microsoft can not destroy GNU/Linux frontier, the attack what will destroy it, will come from inside, like you guys who are fighting all the time what is best application/DE/Browser/Distribution/OS...

KDE is made for users by users....
What can you give back to others?

nice comment. but i actually started the oposing group to stop people from fighting. interesting point is that there is now a group pretending gnome was better :D

i chose to be in both groups because i think, that this may show some users, that you can be user of both GUIs ...

so what?

 And the winner is......

Kubuntu is better because it's blue (instead of brown).
Ubuntu is better because the GNOME foot kicks the KDE dragon's butt.

So they're equal on my score card.

(BTW, for people who don't "know" me, the above was meant very "tongue-in-cheek". In other words, I was just trying to make a joke.)

 I like KDE, but...

I actually like KDE. Gnome is great, too. At the moment, I prefer Gnome, but a few versions ago, KDE was better. Kubuntu just doesn't use KDE correctly. A better example of what Ubuntu can be with KDE is Linux Mint's KDE edition. All Kubuntu does is take the default software selection and drop KDE in on top of it. Mint KDE actually has a different software selection, so it doesn't feel like you're using a cheap imitation of Gnome.

Was H2SO4.

I would greatly appreciate help in making the appropriate numbers appear as subscript in this sig.
