I would like to have a widget which displays the newest 5 emails. It would be nice if it integrates into the mail client of course.
So a click on a email opens up the mails client.
What do you think?

It sounds very interesting. I think I'll start to do some like this, but I will need time. If someone on the mean time wants to start we can collaborate.
Let me know...

 QMeter v 0.5.1

OK, I've added some doxygen information about QMeter and I included the doxygen html files into the zip archive.
Now I have to verify the robustness of the code and improve the error management.
After some testing I will consider the QMeter code stable and I'll release the 1.0.0 version.
If someone has comments or bug list, please post a comment.
Good luck!

A screenlet that takes the "newest news" from big newspaper's websites, and shows it. You will be able to choose which one would you like.

If you want to develop KDE code, have a look at http://techbase.kde.org/.

KDE is based on the cross-platform Qt toolkit, so your KDE applications work with Windows and Mac, too.

A good start to learn Qt is the official Qt documentation at http://doc.trolltech.com/latest/. It comes with many examples.

Sincerely I do not use widgets, or screenlets, because I own a old computer for now... I can help with some graphics if necessary... and I'll begin to use widgets of course, if I'll be involved :)
