Ubuntu! The magical linux distribution that teleports a debian sid snapshot+the contents of a sid pkg repo for profit! Shuttleworth must be an expert in that african ju-ju!

I have to agree with you on this to some
point, as ubuntu is just adding the
"easy of use" to debian, which shows the
point that ubuntu is for idiots.

Linux shouldn't be easy to use, it should
be for it people who likes text file conf
etc.

So sad to see that ubuntu what used to be
ubuntu linux, (I guess the linux word
was dropped cause it scared idiots away)
now has made this site flooded with idiotism.

So I do not consider ubuntu as a linux
distribution anymore (neither do the
ubuntu team?) as it is merely a name
more than an actual thing.

There is nothing wrong by system being easy to use (Linux is never easy to use, it is just an OS, not a complete software system)

Canonical and Ubuntu community (the "advanced Ubuntu users") has just raped the Linux world. Canonical started it with dropping Linux from their name. Then they continued it by calling Linux only as kernel and Ubuntu being the OS.

And now since last few versions they have started to try overhelm the Linux with Ubuntu. Just so Canonical would gain commercial success (what other commercial distributors have gained with talent and services for FOSS) and so on money. It is all about Profit! Not about freedom! Otherwise they would not lie about Linux and Ubuntu. Freedom can not be based on the lie. That is just the fact.

No wonder Ubuntu has so many fanatics protecting it and spreading lies (opinions) from it how it is the "super Linux" and "easiest to use". Almost all Linux distributions are very easy to use. You only need to know the basics of computer and software systems. None of the desktop environments are easy enough for those who can not use mouse or keyboard.

Ubuntu just happened to be in right place on right time. That was when Gnome got most bugs fixed and it started to be good desktop environment again (since 2.x series start). And on that time distributions was started to have LiveCD's with the idea "one app per task". Ubuntu was just nice name with fancy brown theme (others used more natural colors). And Ubuntu got lots of free marketing because millionaire Mark Shuttleworth founded the Canonical for distribute Linux..

A "space man" who started to spend own money for Open Source was such news even for commercial world that it got lots of news time.

And even now, Canonical does not support upstreams. It tryes to control the Linux world. Force everyone to follow Ubuntus release dates, package all software only for Ubuntu etc. And they really are good on that task. They might even overthrow "the Linux" from the markets as a brand and become the new "Linux". Thanks to those who wanted to run away from MS but wanted to have system like windows what was supported and controlled by one commercial company.

Those who wants to protect freedom, will use other distributions than Ubuntu (or any of its derivatives and editions).

Posted comments about 2 GDM themes that were nothing more than the default debian GDM theme with new backgrounds featuring half naked women and a debian logo (falsely released under the GPL of course) and now they are gone! Sad day that Debian users are starting to act like the ubuntu community! :/

 2 new gdm themes uploaded!

I just posted two new gdm themes (I love making GDM themes)

http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/TechN9ne_v2?content=123843

http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Tenchu_Rin+?content=123889

Artistic advice? Im sure Id get more downloads if I chose to make GDM themes featuring naked women or something. But just like the rest of my GDM themes, they are unbranded and will suit any distribution of linux or anything that runs GDM (because thats my opinion on how things should be). What do you guys think? I'm not asking if you like the rapper TechN9ne or the Tenchu game. Im asking for artistic advice.

no, it's simply that ubuntu users are made sillier and sillier by an excessive ubuntu usage...

I really fed up of ubunteros behaviors down here. They post works that are not their own, they make updates without any real reason, just to be seen, they invade 50% of space in a place that is not dedicated to them.
They even forced some of the best creative persons here to make ubuntu stuff just to have a chance to be seen. I'm not far from quitting really...

We'll see.

To answer your question: Yes, there are many things I don't whine about. I don't whine at all. I have opinions and I am entitled to them just as you are. It is my opinion that you should find the nearest broom stick remover and use it on your ass. Get bent, retard.
