get bing off opendesktop

Politics
Description:

Okay I have had it Google is the biggest contributer to open source software. why would Microsoft spend all this money on ads for bing because there trying to divert googles traffic there main source of income and in return gnu/linux open source softwares biggest source of income do you see the real agenda here it has little to do with Google or bing there trying to take out free open source software I think this means WAR!!!!!!!

i have posted that before but did again for good reason if you are sick of windows, bing, micrsoft SH*T all over opendesktop its like were biteing are own legs off so what if bing gives you more money if microsoft gave 50 million dollars to remove all Linux distros off the net does that justifie doing it NO!!!!! its not like we are going to buy windows and if we did what makes you think we'd go here

join the good guys the Google good guys. this is a protest

Hi,

this is interesting. I can not see the microsoft ads here.
On the other hand, if they want to spend their money in buying advertising on our site and support us this is fine with me. :-)
Im sure no user here will switch to bing or windows. :-)

Cheers
Frank

adblock is bad because we have to pay our hosting and other costs from ad. If everybody would use adblockers we would have to shut this site down

yeah... I know what you mean, but a lot of site ad's I see take over the whole webpage if you accidentally put your mouse over them, or they just freeze up my computer, not most of this site's though. I had a site once, it failed, I made $0.86 in over 3 months.

I'm tired of these MUTHA FUCKIN bing ads on this MUTHA FUCKIN website!!

Correct me if I'm wrong here, Frank, but aren't ads usually provided by an outside service, which takes a cut of the money generated by the ads? And as such, isn't it not the choice of the website as to which adverts are (randomly) included on the pages?

I do see what you mean though. I just think it's not really up to the editors of the page which ads are...um...added :P
