And, what dock do you use?

The little picture shows the taskbar on top. I think, it's set to "autohide".
Btw.
Great theme !! - I like playing with the buttons.

You need emerald-theme manager installed to use the theme. You can install it via Synaptic (Just search for emerald). After that download the Yakano - Beryl/Compiz-Themes and extract it anywhere you like. Launch emerald from System-Preferences-Emerald Theme Manager, click import and find the appropriate theme. Hope this helps.

It's in the repositories... Open synaptic and search for qtcurve... Install it, and run it from System-Preferences-QT 4 settings.

Sorry. Can't help you there. I'm not using the theme myself as I have problems with the drop-shadow. Good luck figuring out how to get it working properly.

I had problems with compiz-shadows half a year ago
after upgrading compiz. After downgrade it was o.k.
again. I thought: "Never change a running system"
Thank You for Your help.

I can explain the settings for my SuSE-Distro:
I've additional installed "qtcurve-gtk2" !
Using Qt-Desktop-settings "Colors" one can import
the color-sheme.
Using Qt-Desktop-settings "Style" one can
activate "Qtcurve". Under Configuration-Qtcurve
one can import the Qtcurve-settings.
After restart session, I activated in
Qt-Desktop-settings the option:
"Use KDE-Style in Gtk-applications"
Starting Gnome-session, here I've set under
Desktop-settings - Theme - Windowcontent the
style to Qtcurve (see screenshot 3)
For other distro's I can't help, use google
maybe You find a workaround.
Thanks.

 Drop-shadow problem solution

by truckerpunk on: Jan 25 2009

I found out how to solve the problem with the drop shadow. If you only have Vertical shadow from your window's its most likely not a problem with this particular theme but with emerald itself. I found out that if the shadow-radius it set to above approximately 14 it dosen't show horizontal shadow. So just adjust it to below 14, and everything should work fine. You adjust the shadow-radius undewr the emerald theme manager-edit themes. Hope this helps other who experience a similar problem. Keep up the good work. I really like the theme.
