Description:

This is a very very black modification of
my slickness theme.
I made it cause someone here at gnome-look
asked if I could.

New feature since version 0.3:
You can now choose colors using gnome
theme manager.
It is my very first try at something like this so it might not work exactly as planned.

Feedback of any kind is always welcome :D

To fix browser problems go here:
http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Darkfix+%28+easy+fix+for+browsers+%29?content=74504

that fix will fix all your browser problems :)

A HUGE thanks to code933k for making it!!

!!!IMPORTANT!!!

To install:
1.Download the file to your desktop
2.Right click the file and select extract here
3.open a terminal and run these commands:
first:
sudo cp -r $HOME/Desktop/SlicknesS-black /usr/share/themes
second:
sudo chmod 777 /usr/share/themes/SlicknesS-black/Slickness-black.jpg

4.Open the theme manager, you can now
see the SlicknesS-black theme as a theme,
when you click on it , it suggests
taners amazing wallpaper he made for this theme!!
click apply to apply the wallpaper!

the icon theme it suggests is this one:

http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/black-white+2+Style?content=72619

any problems with the install let me know!!!!

One REALLY HUGE thank you to artist Taner
for his fantastic wallpaper!

Gerva has made a fix that fixes openoffice problems! :

U need to put the path in there for where u are putting it with that command. The way that command looks to me is as if you are just telling it to cp itself to itself so where ever you want it like say I wanted to move a folder from music to videos in my home folder i would do

cp /home/username/music/folder /home/kenny/videos/folder

If you are using Ubuntu u would benefit from just clicking the tar.bz2 file and draggin it out of there like you would using winzip and then open System/Preferences/Appearance and drag it into that program and drop it. I can do it with the command line but this way just seems so much quicker to me because either way I have to open the Appearance program.

 Bug with Banshee

There's a bug with Banshee where its notification area icon popup gets painted as a panel, eventhough it requests to be painted as a tooltip. The said bug is here: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=541908

screenshot: http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/169656/banshee-tooltip-slicknessb.png

And the solution is in comment #10.
