The text in the menu bar is black in open office. Is that a bug? How can I correct it?

yeah, it's a bug related to OOo not to the theme.
I will try to fix it in the next release but then I have to make a dark background with white text for all menu style.

probably ubuntu users dont see this bug. Im using foresight with Gnome.

Ubuntu got custom dialog, Foresight is using the original dialog from Gnome

when choosing controller "Moomex" for setting up a custom "theme" it gets like that.

in another theme:

in the file panel.rc
i removed this from the file:
class "*Panel*" style "panelbg"

Then the window for system/turn off looks better.

wrote some replies in this theme:

I think reflection plugin works only for certain graphic cards. It might be a bug, you should post yuor problem in compiz fusion forums.

To get some transparency, Press "Alt" and scroll down the your mouse wheel. I hope that what you mean

 No panel?

First, nice theme! Great job!

I installed this through the Gnome Theme manager, but it does not seem to install fully.

The panel does not get the setting applied (various images) and the neither does the application window (see Firefox in screen).

 some suggestions

Nice! I use this theme as a default for some time now and it rocks!
I do have some suggestions though:

-The Gnome panel and the blue menubar at the top are too big in my opinion (33px). They take too much space on the screen.
-I prefer the scrollbar to be better visible. In the current version, its color is almost identical to the background.
-Would it be possible to make all four window edges round, like in Human?
-Will there be more room for custiomization? I'd really like to play around with different colors for the various elements.
-The colors of Firefox dropdown-menus are broken for me (grey on black), but since Firefox 3 will improve theming support, I guess that problem will be fixed soon.

This is still an excellent theme and I really enjoy using it.
