 bug?

by jonathanmotes on: Nov 27 2007

This is the first theme that I have found that I have been able to stick with! I have a minor issue though - the CPU frequency scaling monitor doesn't have white text when I add it to the panel. Is it possible to fix this?

Thanks

I don't think this bug is related to the theme. It's a gnome-panel bug.
The CPU frequency scaling monitor should follow the panel text color not the windows text color which is black but you can change it via Gnome Theme Manager.

Hello,

with the 0.5 release... I just wanted to say I LOVE YOU and I LOVE MOOMEX. The best theme ever!!! I sure hope it will be available on future version of Ubuntu!

I love that you've fixed the most important bugs:

- Firefox/OpenOffice and other apps menubar. SMART idea to put the menubar on all apps!!! Don't even dare to change this in future versions :D
- The Places and System are now visible.
- The "Create Lanucher" and other apps windows problem. For example of the Mail Notification app I couldn't see anything when I wanted to add an account.
- I love the new "Separator" icon. Much BETTER then the original one.

Love it! Number 1 !!! Keep up the very good work!

P.S.: If you want a website for moomex... I can provide one for you, FREE OF CHARGE! ;)

 Hm...

I just installed this theme, and the controls use a human-like color scheme...is this correct? Here is a screenshot: http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s236/thevoiceless/Screenshot-2.png

Also, in the first screenshot, it looks like you have some kind of pattern in your window border, like you replaced the shadow with some kind of design. How did you do that?

The color scheme is not exactly the same as Human's.
I only use the orange color for the selected items because people are accustomed to it and you can change that to your favorite one.

I use compiz fusion with the reflection plugin enabled to draw the reflection on windows borders.

How does the reflection plugin work? I've always had it enabled but never been quite sure what it does...

Sorry I can't help you with that. If you have bug, report it the compiz-fusion developers.

 Is this a bug?

Sorry about my English, I think that I have found a bug.

When you add a Menu button to the panel the System option and the Places option appear with clear (white) text however the other options appear with dark (black) text.

In this pictures you can see it:

Clearly you have the older version.

This bug and others were fixed in the latest release ( version 0.5 ). See the changelog.

Update your Moomex Theme.

I downloaded 0.4, last week and then checked back to see how to get white text on open-office and there waiting for me is 0.5 {must download when I get home}.

I'm liking this theme above all others at this point in time.

now if I could only get AIGLX working... stupid 9550.

 Great theme

First of all, congrats ! Great theme.

I have just one problem (maybe bug, maybe my bad). When i click the "log out" or "shut down" action in the system menu, the pop up confirmation window gets the panel background repeated, so it's all black striped and the text gets unreadable.

I downloaded it twice to be sure i have the latest version, no luck.
