Description:

Simple theme. I tried to keep it as unintrusive as possible. It's based on electric piano, acoustic piano and strings so it feels somewhat organic.

Sounds included in ogg format:

USB Out

Nice sound! I hope KDE team use your sounds replacing the actual ones.

 Samples ....

Nice !! Though they have very low audio resolution no matters if they were recorded in 44.000 Hz *.ogg wich is a very good format...

It looks like you have been plugging mic-in with sint-out which is hawful or perhaps you got a bad PCM level.

Read backwards is just a suggestion, because your sounds are one of the best from here, but they would be nicer.

bye!

ION3 + wxGTK + Rxvt + Lua + Dash and a beautiful Wallpaper. That is what I call: GNU/Linux !! You ever may call it [...] whatever.

Thanks for the comment.

This is all software based synths, a USB main keyboard controller and that's it. so maybe I didn't noticed how Audacity converted the files to ogg (they were wav's originally) I implicitly trusted that it would keep the original bitrate. my bad.

thank you again for the input, I'll look into it.

The "error" alone is such a relief. Kubuntu's original is very startling!!! Thanks much for nice sounds.

Kubuntu is overkill when it comes to sound. I was very impressed with the log on tune, but every thing that's "clickable", every message box, anything that moves on the screen has a sound. I'm surprised they didn't make a "hummmmmmm" sound for when the system is idle. :D

but I'm glad they invested on that, most distos don't care much about sound and have this "humpf" attitude towards it, they don't see it as a significant part of user experience. Like all things linux "it's a start", and if I can help in any way I'll be happy.

I noticed you registered on the same day you commented, that alone is a very big compliment. thank you. :)

This is awesome! A great artwork!

P.S.: Could you add a Warning sound to complete the scheme?

P.S.2: Is there any way of associating the USB in and out sounds in Gnome (Ubuntu Edgy)?

Thank you!!!

Okay, just added the warning sound. Hope you like. :D

From what I gathered there is no clear way to add usb sounds to gnome. :S
