Description:

A fast Clearlooks and Ubuntulooks themes for Gnome made to loosely resemble OSX Tiger.

They fit well with Compiz also.

Contents:
T-ish - Clearlooks theme
T-ish Aguastyle - Clearlooks theme with some pixmap elements
T-ish-Ubuntulooks - Ubuntlooks theme
T-ish-Ubuntulooks Aguastyle - Ubuntulooks theme with some pixmap elements
T-ish-Ubuntulooks Graphite - same as above but thanks to Alejandro Cornejo

Based on Clearlooks or Ubuntulooks engines, Ish GTK theme with additional buttons from Expose and GlossyP metacity borders (with many thanks to authors).

Requires clearlooks or ubuntulooks engine.

For best results use OSX icons, jaguarx mouse theme, and FoxiTiger firefox skin (links below).

IMPORTANT: In order to install all of the themes you'll have to manually extract to ~/.themes dir.

IMPORTANT 2: In order for scrollbars to work on Ubuntu Edgy you have to install gtk2-engines-pixbuf package.

TO-DO:?? (please leave a comment if you find something)

 Firefox theme?

by ossi on: Jan 9 2006

Score 50%

Hi!

Would you see any point in creating a firefox theme for completion? In my opinion the firefox default does not seem to be complete with your theme and the ifox theme is nice, but sometimes a bit slow. So what do you say? What are the challenges now?
greets

Actually I was thinking about it. But since I'm a busy person and don't know anything anout fireforx themeing I never get much further.

Logical step is to get some documentation, read it and then implement existing T-ish design into firefox themeing engine.

Got any documentation links to save me searching time :))?

I'll definetly do it but it will take some time.

Thanks fot interest.

Ok, here's some information - I had a quick look. Basically I found some links from this URL:

http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-23532.html

Here's somewhat official info:

http://kb.mozillazine.org/Theme_development

Forum thread:
http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=198911

A blog:

http://cheeaun.phoenity.com/weblog/2004/12/first-steps-in-theme-design.html

I guess especially the second link might be important.

 about animation prop

by ayoli on: Jan 23 2006

Score 50%

really fast and nice theme, i love it ;)
but i had an error when uncommenting line: "animation = TRUE".
however i use a clearlooks engine v 0.6.2 compiled with "--enable-animation" flag.
but when the line animation is commented, it works just fine with animations ! :)
It is not a big pb, just curious.
regards,
ayoli.

The animation option only exists for Clearlooks-Cairo. Clearlooks-Gdk doesn't understand it but will always enable the animation when compiled with --enable-animation.

Hey, your fonts looks ugly in that shot, I think you should fix your font settings and replace the current shot.

But hey, great work ;)

Not sure if I have understood you correctly, but try to use theme details to match metacity and gtk theme if that is the problem.

If not can you explain the problem little bit more.

Thanks.
