Description:

Missed the look of my old Windows 3.1 system so became this gtk theme. Take a step back in time and enjoy!

Also included is the "Gnome for Workgroups" Metacity theme and Redmond3 XFCE window manager themes.

The Classic95 icon set seems to go good with this theme. You can download the icons from here: http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php?action=content&content=157298

There are four themes included:
-Win3x Has default colors
-Win3x Black Leather Jacket
-Win3x Cinnamon
-Win3x-White has a white window background

Please install redmond95 gtk engine for best results however theme should work without it.

 Love It

I absolutely adore this theme. Thank you so much for making it. Could I recommend that you make the rest of the palettes, too?

In case you don't know what the rest are, I came across this tumblr post that documented all of the different themes: http://lntelinside.tumblr.com/post/63406430448/windows-3-1-color-schemes-in-order-lcd

I also have this INI file that I found from Googling which includes all the hex values used for the palettes. To help you move along, I pastebinned it here:
http://pastebin.com/h12y3Ha7

Keep up the good work! I'm thinking of maybe even packaging this for Arch Linux's AUR eventually, like I did with the Classic95 theme.

Thank you for the input, I will add these to my next update. I also plan on making a Windows 3.1 icon theme in the future.

 File Manager

I'm interested to use this theme, but I wanted to have the File Manager equal to this screenshot. Where can I find this File Manager?

Hi, the one in the screenshot is called thunar. It's the xfce4 file manager. To get it to look like in the screen shot goto menu->view->location selector and select pathbar style. Hit Ctrl + i and that should hide the toolbar.

Hi. The one in the screenshot is called thunar, it's the xfce4 file manager. These are the settings I used; From the menu select View > Side Pane > Tree, then View > Location Selector > Pathbar Style.

Ah, the Thunar. Interesting as it is different with the theme. Looking at this screenshot, seems to be from another file manager. Cool!

I am using the MATE must be why the theme was not very nice to me. :(

This is great on XFCE4 and Openbox! Even better with JWM/iceWM. Looked off on Mate and horrid with LXDE (imo) but overall this is really well done! I'm slightly more a fan of the Mac OS (classic) platinum theme, but this one hits the spot too!

Hello. This is a wonderful theme. Thank you!!
For some reason the close button has an "X" in it instead of a "-" in my computer. I wonder why. I am using Linux Mint 17.2 xfce. :(
