by jurialmunkey

Requires Murrine Engine > 0.98

NOW UPDATED
The theme now has configuration tool. Many thanks to SkiesofAzel for the Orta configuration tool which I hacked apart. New Dark styles for tabs, scrollbars and progressbars. Lots of other tweaks. Firefox and Chrome themes coming soon!

INSTALLATION
Extract the .zip file
Double click "install.sh" and select "Run"
Follow the prompts

Please read the README file for more detailed instructions. Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. If you notice a bug or have a suggestion please leave a comment with a note about which configuration options you used.

 which murrine version?

 by sztomi88 on: Mar 6 2011

Score 50%

I have installed murrine from the fedora repository (version: 0.98.1.1-1.fc14). Apparently it does not work correctly with this theme, see the error message I'm getting: http://pastie.org/1639996

First, I don't have gksu, but the more interesting part is murrine complaining about a feature. After I close the customize script and reselect the theme in apperance prefs, nothing changes.

Nicest theme I've seen for gnome in my life so far. I'm currently using it and I love it quite much. Thanks for creating and sharing for free. The installer and readme make it very easy to use. Zet em op ;-)

 Configuring question

 by 640miles on: Mar 17 2011

Hi, it's really great theme. Thank you.
But unfortunately I have some difficulties with configuring it on Arch Linux
1. customize.py does not start at all. When I'm trying to start it, there is simply no reaction. So it's not possible to configure the theme.
I'm new to Linux, I installed Gnome and Compiz. And I think Compiz works properly (except I have the message when ccsm starts "No sexy-python package found..."), but may be there is something else I have to do?
2.Breadcrumbs
I have read all previous messages, but I still don't understand what should I do?
I would appreciate any help.

In Arch, python is a link to python3.

You need to edit the python script: replacing /usr/bin/python with /usr/bin/python2
