Open Emerald Theme Manager
Click the "Import" button
select the emerald theme from the Emerald folder that you extracted from .zip
Select the theme
press ALT + F2 to open a run dialog
type "emerald --replace" without quotes
you should now have the emerald borders you selected. Let me know if you have an y difficulties.

Please read the README file (i.e. RTFM). There is a section about customising the panel. You need to use the panel images in the Panel directory of the .zip file. But you will have to tweak it in gimp to fit your screen size. Liquid Rescale plugin will probably work well.

 Xfce menus

Hey, thanks for making this theme. I'm on xfce, with the murrine engine updated from git just yesterday, and I'm having a problem with the menu.

In the xfce applications menu, any entry that isn't a submenu has a problem with the text color, as can be seen here: http://bildr.no/view/752536 I get the same color that 'Documentos' has whenever I hover over 'Mousepad', 'Ayuda', etc. The problem doesn't show with menus in other programs. Compare http://bildr.no/view/752543

This shows pretty much the same with the other dark styles of menus.

With the light menu style, the xfce apps menu looks like this: http://bildr.no/view/752547 , and other menus like this: http://bildr.no/view/752548

So yeah, hopefully you can fix this or suggest something I could do to fix this.

I can't really help you as I don't use xfce so I can't test anything unfortunately.

K, so I did some digging around and I fixed it by changing widget_class "*<GtkMenuItem>*" to style "menubar" in menu.rc I don't know what effect that'd have on gnome, but I guess you could just put a message on the download page suggesting this to any xfce user.

Hi, thanks for your very nice theme. It's one of my favourites.

Can you please add a panel background with a width of 1920?

Thanks!
