Description:

Please vote "good" if you like this theme. Please let me know if any of the links becomes dead.

DESCRIPTION
This is my modification of the "UbuntuFrost" theme by PerturbedPenguin (see downloadable link below).

HOW TO APPLY
1. Install and enable the Emerald window decorator (http://wiki.compiz.org/Decorators/Emerald
2. Download this theme and save on hard drive. For convenience in step 3. ensure the file name has ".emerald" suffix.
3. Apply theme:
a) either double click on the .emerald file or
b) open the Emerald themes manager window, click "Import..." button and select the .emerald file

Voilà! Enjoy.

SHADOWS
I turned shadows off to make the Superkaramba themes look better. If you wish to turn shadows on:
1. Open Emerald theme manager.
2. Go to Decoration Settings tab -> Edit decorations tab -> Frame/Shadows tab -> Shadows section.
3. Set Opacity to desired value.
4. Click "Finish" button to close Emerald theme manager window.

EDIT: Though, it's possible to turn off only the Superkaramba themes:
1. Open Compiz Settings Manager (CSM).
2. Go to Window decoration -> General (tab) -> Shadow windows.
3. Set exception for whatever class of windows/objects you wish (in this case Superkaramba objects). I haven't tested it with Superkaramba but to turn off Gnome Panel shadows only I have any & !(class=Gnome-panel). Just test it and please remember to post your results in comment below. I suggest to start play with class=Superkaramba & type=dock. Nevertheless, you can find relevant classes here http://api.kde.org/4.3-api/kdeutils-apidocs/superkaramba/html/annotated.html. Also, this: http://techbase.kde.org/Projects/SuperKaramba/FAQ might also give you some clues.
4. Click "Back" button to go back to main menu, then "Close" to close CSM window.
End of EDIT

HOW TO MAKE YOUR DESKTOP LOOK THE SAME AS MINE or similar:

GET THE SHORTCUTS BAR, CLOCK, ETC:
1. Ensure you've got Superkaramba installed and turned on (K -> Utilities -> Desktop -> Superkaramba)
2. Download and install the following themes
a) clock: "KClock Ver 1.2e", skin name"Green"
(put skins into ~/.superkaramba/KClock/styles/stylename)
b) panel: "atalion" vertical (some icons replaced, configuration file is located: ~/.superkaramba/atalion/atalion.theme)
c) calendar: "DDsimple"

I also use GNOME Screenlets with "CPU Meter" (the two little clocks which show CPU and RAM usage).

PREVENT WINDOWS HIDING THE PANNEL in maximised mode:
This refers to KDE only, I'm not sure how to do it in Gnome. If anybody knows - please post it in coments. Anyway, in KDE simply add a dummy pannel and don't let windows hide it:
1. Go to KDE ControlCentre (control centre -> desktop -> panels) and add extra panel of type "panel".
2. Change it's settings:
a) go to control centre -> desktop -> panels -> arrangement tab
b) chose the dummy pannel from the dropdown list
c) set position: right edge, bottom
d) set length: 1%
e) set size: chose "custom" from the dropdown list, and set value to 110 pixels
f) go to control centre -> desktop -> panels -> hiding tab
g) set hide mode: "only hide when a panel-hiding button is clicked"

CUSTOMISE AUDACIOUS - skin & OSD
1. Apply any nice blue skin (I use "Vivid blue" http://www.winamp.com/skin/vivid-blue/166466).
2. Optionally change Audacious window opacity: Alt+mouse scroll down. You must have the "Opacity, Brightness and Saturation" plugin turned on in Fusion Icon of Compiz. (This can be found in "Availability" section.)
2. Set the OSD (see relevant hyperlink to download):
a) Right click on Audacious window and go to Settings or click [Ctrl]+P
b) Go to Plugins section -> General tab
c) Tick the Audacious OSD plugin
d) Optionally click "Preferences" button and set desired position, colours, appearance, etc.

APPLY KADU BACKGROUND
For Kadu communicator template see relevant downloadable link.

EDIT: I wish all this was achievable by few mouse clicks. However, since Linux is like a Lego puzzles, it gives you enormous possibilities and the only limit is your imagination. That's on the pros side. On cones is the fact that not everything is a 10 sec job. Or maybe there is a software to do it in few clicks... Either way, enjoy and click "Good" if you like this theme.
