looks good so far. Ive not used win7 and have spent maybe a total of 3 or 4 hours ever in vista. Just to point out, the left tab highlight is blue while the others are yellow. Not sure if its supposed to be like that or if you've already spotted it. Cheers.

theme is still a preview I remind... me too haven't use Vista more than half a day... pixmaps are made by screenshots, so, more I have, better the theme comes up...

Thanks, there's things like observing, reproduce and put all together with some patience and time that's become less as time goes by...

Yes, a lot of things can be done with Pixbuf Rendering Engine, almost any port of VS for Windows or WB, or GuiKit Styles for Mac...

Is this project still alive? Because I would hate to see such a perfect replica fall by the wayside. I happen to like the look of Windows, I just hate how it works. Please, please, please don't let this die!

You can check out my theme at

http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Windows+7+clone?content=104107

And I am still working on it. I have already crossed one of my milestones and created the windows 7 start menu theme at

http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Windows+7+clone?content=104163

By the way excellent theme up there. :-)
