Description:

This is a mix between two GTK2 themes found on this website (Vista Panel pixmaps merged with Fruity Aqua controls).
I just wanted to obtain an aqua-ish style with a dark panel. UbuStuTrans emerald window decoration fits well with the dark panel. And I didn't forget the customized start button !

Enjoy !

other decorations: OSX icons + weather screenlet + kiba-dock + almond-dark-blue xmms skin

Thank you for improving my gtk theme.

My "toolbg.png" is pixmap included in Samui.

All Pixmaps which I used is included in themes that I enumerated.

Scrollbars of malwk is particularly cool.

Please forgive my strange English.

Here is a quick translation of the French tutorial found on http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/kiba-dock

note: CVS version is not a full stable version but it has the nicest visual effects!

in gnome-terminal:

1) install dependencies:

sudo apt-get install build-essential libgconf2-dev libgtk2.0-dev libcairo2-dev libgtop2-dev librsvg2-dev libglitz-glx1-dev libglade2-dev automake1.9 cvs

2) then, execute these commands:

gconftool-2 --recursive-unset /apps/kiba
cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@metascape.afraid.org:/cvsroot co kiba-dock-old
cd kiba-dock-old
sh autogen.sh
make
make install-schemas
sudo make install

3) That's all! You can start it by the command "kiba-dock"

Transparency is available thanks to the installation of a 3D desktop manager.
Beryl is the one used on my Ubuntu.
If your distro is Ubuntu, just type the keywords "beryl" and "ubuntu" in Google to find a way to install it !

Then you have to set beryl parameters the way you want in beryl-manager (a red diamond icon should be placed in the notification area, near the clock)

 how to get transparent panels?

This is an absolutely stunning theme...no doubt!
but i prefer to have transparent panels.
when i enable transparency of panels after installing this theme..it becomes awkward.
would it be possible for you to upload the theme without dark panels..i would be very grateful... thanks in advance!
if it is not possible please suggest a workaround.
