Description:

*** VERSION 1.0 IS HERE ***
*** Check the changelog ***
*** For details ***
*** New screenshots too ***

A nice pink CGWD theme.
I took Aero-Compiz as my base, and made it go with this awesome Tales of Symphonia wallpaper I found on deviantART.
Embrace the manly pink with me!

Please comment, especially if you vote bad or still want something more from the theme.

So you can get a better idea of the theme, I added a screenshot taken on a non-pink background.

And also, if you are thinking about it, don't vote bad here just because you are insecure using a pink theme. If it's just not your style, don't bring me down, just don't download it. But please vote bad and leave a comment if you think there is work to be done.

Changelog:

August 31 2006

- Slightly modified contrast of theme

- Made buttons blend MUCH nicer

I agree, too much vista glass reworkings. not a lot of original so far.

Hah. That's cool.
Maybe tomorrow I'll get working on the version with better buttons, I'll make sure to announce the update when I do.

Just out of curiosity, did your girlfriend choose to use Linux, or did you convert her?

Lol, it was a bit of both. She'd be using Litestep on Windows for a long time and since she did little more than watch movies, do school work .. etc. I suggested linux.

She loves it :-), right hunny?

Awesome.I showed my gf the awesomeness of Linux and she wants to use it now.

Unfortunately I've tried installing SUSE 10.1 on her laptop three times and for some reason after the initial reboot it never goes to GRUB, it just boots up Windows =|

Anywho, make sure and grab my new version, there's much more pinkness this time around!

Try to install SUSE as a full installation, not dual-boot.
But I suggest Ubuntu, she will love it more. ;)

I have this working under Gnome, but I also want the taskbars being pink.
Not the pink you can pick as an colour, but the one that fits this. ;)

I love pink gnome themes! This is awesome. I'm going for a bit of a more purple color at the moment but I'll definitely keep this in mind.

Awesome :)

Also I agree with the dislike of Vista-look. but it's not too much of a burden.
