Description:

3Dcursors version 0.2
=====================

These are 3D mouse buttons, they are very similar to those in WinXP but
drown completely by me ;) and i have made some small changes such as in
circle.png.

I hope you like it, and if you don't like M$ please don't say that it is
ugly because it looks like those in WinXP :( because i made them to show
everyone that we can do in Linux everything that can be done in windows :)

INSTALL
=======
* For system wide install do the folowing
mkdir -p /usr/share/icons/3Dcursors/cursors
cp cursors/* /usr/share/icons/3Dcursors/cursors
then edit the file "/usr/share/icons/default/index.theme" to look like this:
[Icon Theme]
Inherits=3Dcursors

* For one user install do the folowing
mkdir -p ~/.icons/default/cursors
cp cursors/* ~/.icons/default/cursors
then edit the file "~/.icons/default/index.theme" to look like this:
[Icon Theme]
Inherits=whiteglass

I think these icons should be moved into /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/icons in Suse and Mandrake

I did exactly what you said and It doesn't work, still. When I logged out and logged back in it was just my regular mouse cursor. Please Help! I use RedHat 8.0.

Maybe you already use those under windows ? Well, they look almost the same.

You remember, there was a green ones and gold ones.

If you could release them...

Regards,

Though the theme is rather old now some people might want to use it.

The format of the index.theme has changed. Instead of

[Icon Theme]
Inherits=whiteglass

it should say something like this:

[Icon Theme]
Name=whiteglass
Comment=3D whiteglass cursors
Example=arrow

That has to be changed manually if someone wants to install the theme.
Also the theme shouldn't go to ~/.icons/default/cursors anymore but to
~/.icons/whiteglass.

You then can select the theme in kcontrol.

Want excellent hardware recognition and an easy way to install Debian Sid? Get KANOTIX!
